"Cedar Cabinz a New Zealand treat! In February, we spent 3 nights at Bay Cabinz in Paihia in the Bay of Islands on New Zealand North Island.

The 10 cedar cabins, very clean and decorated in bright colours, are scattered on a hillside landscaped with fragrant flowers. They are self contained with a kitchen (microwave, hot plates and refrigerator) queen bed, a small bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom.

We were within 5 minutes walk from town, with its restaurants, shops, beach and wharf. Belinda & Pete, the owners, gave us valuable information about which tours were worth our while." Printed in San Francisco Chronicle by Bob & Carol

"We stayed one night on friday 6th in cabin 4, and i would just like to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was very clean, with amazing views,and also very quiet and peaceful, so nice to have our own deck area and the price was excellent for accommodation received, we were impressed.

We also enjoyed the company of the cat, so i send you a foto of him. If we return to the area, we will definitely be staying again.
